So this tourney is also a ally aloud tourney for armys who might think they are too small for this tourny you can make  a alliance with 2 to 3 armys top but if you are major you can only make a army with 2 armys.

Today, Lje98 quit the Ice Warriors. But it’s not so much the actual loss of a warrior than the reasons for his decision to leave that troubles me. Lje said that he didn’t want to deal with the annoyance of being on our chat because of irritating people and fighting (particularly with people who use “chatspeak” >.<). He also wrote that being in Ice Warriors stunted his potential in Club Penguin armies. In a nutshell, he quit because of the way people were acting here. He was not having fun. Now I’m going to perfectly honest as well: I’m not having that much fun either. The reason I’m not on our chat that much is because I just don’t like being there anymore. Everytime I’m there I have to deal with people fighting, begging for xats, asking for promos, and overall, just being obnoxious. Now some of you are probably like, “Dan, who are you to talk about fighting?”. Well, I’m 3IC and an owner on chat now, so I am in no position to start fights anymore. Now I have to stop them. And I’m finally putting my foot down before more people start quitting because of this. I am bringing two new chat rules to the table, and you can be sure that I and whoever else that supports them will enforce these rules.

1. No more using chatspeak/”O Hai” language. This DOES NOT MEAN stuff like lol, rofl, lmao, etc. abbreviations and that kind of stuff is of course tolerated. But seriously, chatspeak and “O Hai”  (wink, wink) is just immature, it doesn’t make you look cute, it makes you look like a dumbass. And your teachers will think you’re a dumbass too if you get too comfortable typing like that and your next English essay begins with, “O Hai! Mai name iz … Nao teh epic paper beginz!” This will be enforced with kicks, but never bans unless it gets totally out of hand.
2. No more using Ice Warriors chat as Trade chat. This only applies to the main chat, so you can do this only in private chat while on Ice Warriors xat. There’s no reason you can’t just go to Trade to do this. First of all, you’re more likely to get stuff from Trade because there’s more people there and they’re all subscribers. Second, giving a high rank a bargain for a power isn’t going to get you a promotion. Again, this will be enforced with kicks but will go to bans if it becomes too much.
   

Maybe it seems harsh to you, but if you were in my or any other owner’s position right now, you would most likely understand. But here’s a couple questions for you all to answer: Are you having fun in Ice Warriors? What you like/dislike about it?
Please answer in a comment on this post. I strongly feel that we need to make some social and structural reforms here, and I’ve done the best I can to start that today. And Lje, I never really knew you that well, but I thank you for being open about why you quit. You triggered me to help make Ice Warriors better for everyone, and you shall be remembered for it.
